Estilo: Geek

Não sei muito ao certo, mas, tudo indica que eu me encaixo muito bem nesse estilo. Venho falar do estilo Geek.

I don't really know for sure, but, all points that I fit this style quite well. So I come here to talk about the Geek style.

Quem são os Geek? São pessoas que adoram tecnologia, produtos eletrônicos, games, ficcão científica, etc.

Who are the Geeks? They're people who love technology, electronics, games, science fiction, and so on.

Eles adoram usar roupas que seguem um pouco o estilo Preppy, como a Patty Pagi já havia comentado aqui no F&HH, as roupas são contraditórias: coisinhas do passado, achados em brechós, misturado com coisas que lembram o futuro(o que eu mais amo fazer nas minhas combinações pessoais^^). Óculos, sobreposições, gravatas(eu tenho algumas aqui \o/\o/\o/) e camisas.

They love to use clothes that follow Preppy style (link above), as Patty Pagi (our other author, link above) already commented here on F&HH, so the clothes are a bit contradictory: things from the past, usually found in secondhand stores, mixed with things that look futuristic (what I love the most to do on my personal combinations ^^). Glasses, layers of clothes, ties (I have a few here \o/\o/\o/) and shirts.

Sabe aquelas meias, suéters ou coletes cheios de losangos? Arrase usando sem medo se você quer ter um estilinho Geek, que enche de idéias maravilhosas a cabecinha de muitos estilistas famosos ahhh e não se esqueça dos Oxfords que são simplesmente luxuosos^^

Know those socks, sweaters or vests full of losangles? Blow minds using it with no fear if you wanna have a Geeky style, that fills with wonderful ideas the heads of loads of famous stylists. Oooh and don't forget the Oxfords, that are simple luxury!

E o mais fofo de tudo, 25 de maio comemora-se o dia do orgulho geek. A data, que é o mesmo dia de estréia do primeiro filme da série “Star Wars” lançado em 1977, foi instaurada na Espanha, em 2006.

And the cutest part, on May 25th is celebrated the Geek pride day. The date, that happens to be the same of the 1st "Star Wars" series' movie premiére (released in 1977), was set in Spain, in 2006.
